WHAT IS BARRIER CONCRETE KERB MOULD
Barrier Concrete Kerb Mould is a type of mould used in the production of concrete kerb stones.  Concrete kerb moulds are designed to produce kerb stones of the desired size, shape and profile.  The moulds can be produced in different formats such as straight, bevelled, angled or profiled edge. These moulds are usually made of strong and durable metals, making them resistant to abrasion and deformation. Concrete kerb moulds are designed, manufactured and exported by CONMACH engineers who are experts in concrete kerb mould design.

BASIC FEATURES OF CONCRETE KERB STONES

Barrier Concrete Kerb Mould design, which is widely used in the concrete industry, is used in the production of kerb stones used in areas such as roadsides, garden arrangements, landscaping projects, etc. Barrier concrete kerb stones are used to ensure vehicle and pedestrian safety at critical points such as roadsides, overtaking lanes and ramps.

  • Barrier concrete kerb stones have a strong and durable structure

  • Specially designed for vehicle impacts and high loads.

  • They provide high strength due to their thick wall thickness and reinforced structure.

  • Size and shape: they are usually wider and high-profile.

  •  They create a visible and perceptible boundary for vehicles.

  •  They contain special attachment points for more solid fixing to the ground.

  • They are prevented from dislodging in the event of a vehicle impact.

  •  Attractive colours such as yellow, red or white are used.

  • Reflective signs or reflectors can be added on them.

MAINTENANCE OF BARRIER CONCRETE KERB MOULDS

The following points should be considered for the maintenance and long-lasting use of concrete kerb moulds:

Regular Cleaning:
   - Moulds should be washed and cleaned immediately after use.
   - Concrete residues, mud and dirt should be completely removed.
   - The surface should be thoroughly purified by using chemical cleaning products.

Surface Control and Maintenance:
   - Scratches, gouges and deformations on the mould surfaces should be checked periodically.
   - If necessary, mould surfaces should be corrected by sanding, polishing or finishing.
   - Protective treatments against corrosion should be applied to prevent rusting.

 Proper Storage:
   - When not in use, moulds should be stored in a dry and clean environment.
   - Moulds should be stacked on top of each other and protected against impacts and bumps.
   - The storage area should be free from moisture, well ventilated and away from sunlight.

 Regular Inspection and Repair:
   - Moulds should be checked periodically and wear and damages should be detected.
   - Necessary part replacements, welding, repairs and repairs should be done on time.
   - All connection points, locking systems and mechanisms on the mould should be checked for soundness.
