What is Concrete Kerbstone Mould?
Concrete kerbstone mould is produced from sheet metals resistant to abrasion and friction. This mould is used by connecting to a paving stone machine or concrete block making machine. The mould has various sizes and models. Concrete kerbstone mould types produced by CONMACH are as follows; Garden kerb, Park kerb, Motorway kerb, Road kerb, Wide kerb, Barrier kerb, Gutter kerb, Contour kerb. Kerbstone are products produced by a concrete kerbstone mould with various model sizes, which are generally used on the edges of roads, streets, pavements or park areas, placed on the edges of pavements and refuges to convey water drains that have a decisive function, and the moulds that form these products are called Concrete kerbstone mould.

How to Make Concrete Curbstone Mould?
For the production of concrete kerbstone mould, firstly the dimensions and shape of the kerbstone to be produced are determined, and the dimensions are determined according to the standards or customer demands. In the selection of mould materials, materials such as sheet metal (steel) resistant to abrasion and friction are preferred. According to the technical drawings prepared by CONMACH engineers, mould parts, wear plates and angles are cut. Holes are drilled and fittings are prepared for joining the mould parts. The prepared parts are assembled according to the technical drawings.  In order for the mould to be robust and durable, the parts are welded and tightly connected. When the concrete kerbstone mould reaches the test stage, the dimensions are checked and it is verified that the mould meets the desired specifications. The mould is mounted on the cobblestone machine or concrete block making machine for the production of concrete kerbstones. During the mass production process, the mould is regularly maintained and cleaned.

Where is concrete kerb stone used?

  • t is used on the edges of roads, streets and boulevards to determine the road borders.

  •  It regulates the transition between the road and the pavement and directs vehicle traffic.

  • It defines the boundary between pavement and road.

  • It controls the flow of rainwater and protects the pavements.

  • It is used in park, garden and landscape arrangements.

  • Separates pedestrian paths, seating areas and other sections.

  • Provides aesthetic appearance and reinforces order.

  •  Refuge and Dividing Lanes:

  • Separates opposite directional traffic lanes from each other.

  • Used on wide roads such as motorways, main roads or boulevards.

  • Airports and Terminals:

  • Regulates pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

  • Defines the boundaries of transport areas.

  • Used in factories, warehouses and logistics centres.

  •  Directs traffic flow and provides security.
