High-Quality Concrete Curb Moulds for Professional Stone Production

The Vital Role of Curb Stones in Modern Landscaping and Infrastructure
Concrete curbs are widely utilized in modern landscape engineering, gardening, and urban infrastructure. Beyond their visual aesthetic in separating green spaces, curbstones perform critical functional roles. They are essentially used to define the edges of sidewalks and, crucially, to direct water runoff during rainy weather, protecting road bases. You will find these essential elements as roadside accessories in urban centers, road sidewalks, parking lots, commercial centers, factories, schools, universities, and hospital grounds.
Precision Engineering in Concrete Curbstone Manufacturing Process
At Conmach, we manufacture durable moulds for concrete curbs in strict accordance with international quality standards. When producing a matrix for a concrete curb, visual aesthetics and precise geometry come to the fore. Our engineers begin the curbstone manufacturing process by designing the moulds using advanced SolidWorks software. Once finalized, the project is sent to our state-of-the-art production department. The metal sheets forming the outer base of the moulds are cut from 10 mm ST52 steel on precise CNC laser machines. During this cutting process, we pay careful attention to preserve the structural integrity of the sheet metal to prevent warping.
How to Produce Curb Stones on a Concrete Block Making Machine
Manufacturing concrete curbs requires a specific machinery setup. The curbstone product itself is made from a precise mixture of concrete combining sand, gravel, and water. While shades of gray and brown are the most common colors used in landscaping, parks, and gardens, a special block making machine is required for production. A significant advantage of modern concrete block making machines is their versatility; they are capable of producing paving stones, blocks, and curbs simply by replacing the moulds. The actual production is carried out by installing our high-precision mould for the curb onto the machine.
Exploring the Types of Concrete Curbs and Mould Specifications
Because concrete curbstones serve diverse landscape and infrastructure purposes, we manufacture them in various models and types. We offer specific solutions including landscape curbs, heavy-duty road curbs, rainbow curbs, garden curbs, and lawn curb models, each possessing different dimensional standards. We strictly account for these standards during our mould production. For maximum durability and wear resistance, we utilize 17 mm ST52 steel or Hardox 450 metal, which is cut with a laser and formed on an Abkant machine. The mould for a concrete curb acquires its final appearance through professional welding of the outer sheets. The process is completed by cleaning the surface on a Borwerk machine, ensuring a flawless finish for the final concrete product.
